Fine Wire Drawing Machine
Operation:
The wire rod to be drawn is first pointed using the Wire Pointing Machine. This pointed wire is inserted through the die of the first Wire Drawing Machine and fastened to a locking device on the drum. Once the drum starts rotating, the wire is pulled and coiled around it. As the wire passes through a die with a larger inlet diameter and a smaller outlet diameter, its diameter is reduced.
The starting end of the drawn wire is released from the lock on the first drum, passed through the overhead loop and pulley, and inserted into the die of the second drum for further diameter reduction. This process continues through all the drawing drums until the wire reaches the desired final diameter.
When the drum of the last Wire Drawing Machine becomes fully loaded with the drawn wire, the machine is stopped to unload the finished material. It is then restarted. (If a continuous coiling machine is used, the drawing process does not need to be stopped for unloading.)
When the input rod bundle finishes, the machine is stopped. The end of the finished bundle is butt welded to the end of a new rod bundle using a butt welding machine, and the drawing process continues.
In case of an accidental wire snap between drums, the broken ends are welded using a butt welding machine, and the operation is resumed.
