Filter Screens:
- A set of perforated round hole screens supplied with the machine in sizes: 1/64", 1/32", 1/16", 1/8", 3/8"
- These sizes cover fine grinding of sugar, medium grinding of chilies, coarse grinding of wet-pulpy material, and granular grinding
Operation:
- The flow of material from the feeding hopper is regulated by a vertical adjustable slide according to the load indicated by the ammeter.
- The rotor with four beaters runs in an anti-clockwise direction.
-
Swinging beaters pass just beneath the ratchet teeth liner inside the top half of the grinding chamber, leaving a gap of 1/16 inch between the liner teeth and the tips of the rotating beaters.
- This setup cuts the material caught between the liner teeth with a scissors action at high speed (4500 to 6000 RPM).
-
After the required size reduction, the material passes through the screen fitted inside the lower discharge end of the grinding chamber.
- No sieving is required, as the screen prevents coarser material from passing through.
- The air generated in the grinding chamber forces the powder through the screen at the bottom discharge end into a cotton bag attached to the delivery trough below.
-
Dust is collected through the attached balloon fitted on the discharge end.
- The top closed end of the balloon should be suspended from the roof or a wall.
- Every half hour, tap the balloon to release dust clogging the pores and relieve any pressure build-up. The dust falls into the bag below for dust-free operation and no wastage.
- Note: When grinding wet-pulpy materials, do not use the balloon.
